As an era of Apple comes to an end with Tim Cook stepping down as CEO, a new one will begin with John Ternus taking the mantle. Ternus is a long-time Apple employee, and as he prepares to take on the role, people want to know who he is and his history with the trillion dollar company. Who is Apple CEO John Ternus? The to-be Apple CEO John Ternus is the company’s senior vice president of Hardware Engineering, a role he’s had since 2021.
