Texas A&M WR KC Concepcion declares for NFL draft, per...
Electric Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion is heading to the next level. Concepcion, a junior, will forego his final season of college football and declare for the 2026 NFL draft, according to a report by Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports. Concepcion spent his first two seasons with NC State, flashing in his freshman year but struggling as a sophomore. He transferred to A&M last offseason, and exploded with the Aggies. In 13 games he caught 61 passes for 919 yards and nine touchdowns. He was also a weapon in the Aggies’ return game on special teams. Concepcion is widely projected to be a first-round draft pick in April, appearing in several notable mock drafts in the mid-to-late 20s. According to Pro Football Focus, he’s the fifth-ranked WR in this year’s class. The 5-11, 190-pounder out of Charlotte was one part of a two-headed Aggie air attack in 2025 along with sophomore Mario Craver, who won’t be draft eligible until 2027. Craver had 59 catches and 917 yards through the air for the Aggies this season. Unfortunately for A&M that air attack went dry over its final two games, as the Aggies lost to rival Texas to fall out of the SEC Championship then fell to Miami in the first round of the College Football Playoff. Concepcion had one of just two touchdowns scored by the Aggies between the two losses. Aggie QB Marcel Reed has already announced that he’ll be returning to Texas A&M for next season.
