Taylor Swift Kisses Travis Kelce After Winning iHeartRadio Music Award...
Taylor Swift became a fixture at Kansas City Chiefs games over the past three NFL seasons and supported Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, her fiancé since last summer, through two Super Bowl appearances and one Super Bowl championship. On Thursday night, Kelce repaid the favor and accompanied Swift to the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards — their first awards show together since they started dating in 2023. About midway through the FOX broadcast, Swift's The Life of a Showgirl won Best Pop Album of the Year. Swift kissed Kelce before walking up to the stage. "The album The Life of a Showgirl was really inspired by the energy that I felt looking into crowds and seeing you guys and connecting with you every single night [on The Eras Tour]," Swift said during her acceptance speech. "The album came out with this energy of just feeling really happy and strong and confident and free. I want to say thank you to the fans for giving me that feeling while I was making this record." When the applause died down, Swift continued, "This album probably also feels very happy and confident and free because that's the way that I get to feel every single day of my life because of my fiancé, who is here tonight. So, thanks for all the vibes!" Swift announced The Life of a Showgirl alongside Kelce and Jason Kelce on the Kelce brothers' New Heights podcast on Aug. 13, 2025, which set a Guinness World Record. Exactly two weeks later, Kelce and Swift announced their engagement. Earlier this week, Kelce signed a new contract with the Chiefs to play his 14th season in 2026. Kelce is the Chiefs' all-time leader in receiving yards (13,002), receptions (1,080), and touchdowns (82). On March 10, Kelce commented publicly for the first time about re-signing with the Chiefs on The Pat McAfee Show. Part of his appearance featured Kelce praising Swift for inspiring him to delay retirement for at least one more year. "We share the same love for what we do," Kelce said. "Fortunately, we've had this desire since we were kids in our selective professions. It's amazing to see her keep going to the table, keep finding new things to write about, keep finding new melodies and things like that, and on top of that, still seeing her have that love and joy in what she does. Of course, that's motivating. That's motivating for anybody to see, let alone my fiancée." The future Hall of Famer added, "Knowing that I'm going through something where I'm trying to figure out exactly what the future holds for me, something like that definitely motivates me to say, 'You know what? I'm not done, either! I still got some ideas in the back of my mind and still got some juice left to play this game.'" The Life of a Showgirl made Swift the first woman and third artist overall to have at least four albums chart at No. 1 for at least 10 weeks on the Billboard 200 since 1956 (via Billboard).
