Crosby, 28, had 10 sacks in 15 games last season. He underwent surgery in January to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee and would have needed to pass a physical for the deal to be finalized. He missed the final two games of the season because the injury despite wanting to play through it at the time. Crosby said on a recent appearance on “The Herd with Colin Cowherd” that he was “ahead of schedule” in his rehab. The Raiders made public denials about wanting to trade Crosby, a two-time second-team All-Pro (2021, ‘23) and five-time Pro Bowl selection. But after receiving two first-round picks from the Ravens, including the 14th overall pick in this year’s draft, the Raiders made their move. Crosby himself wished an emotional goodbye to Las Vegas after he thought he was traded last week. “I felt like I left everything I had on the table for this team,” Crosby said in a 13-minute video, which he published on his social media accounts. “I’ve given my heart and soul. I feel like I let y’all down. Ever since Day 1, I wanted to create and build a winner with the Raiders.” With Crosby potentially back on the trade block, he would be a fit for the Patriots, who could use another upgrade to their pass rush.
