A Pennsylvania State Police helicopter and a small airplane collided in midair and crashed on the evening of Aug. 19, officials said. The incident involved a Cessna 150 airplane and Bell 407 helicopter, which had two people on board, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. The number of people aboard the plane was not immediately known. The crash occurred at around 7:50 p.m. local time near an airport in Carlisle, a community about 120 miles northwest of Philadelphia, the FAA said.
