No deal: Ravens back out of Maxx Crosby trade agreement...
With the trade now off, the Ravens will keep the two first-round draft picks they had previously agreed to trade to the Raiders. That includes the No. 14 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft and their first-round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft. Trading two first-round picks for one player also came with its own share of risks, but it was one the Ravens were willing to take as long as Crosby could get a clean bill of health. That obviously did not happen. Now the Ravens still have to figure out what they are going to do about a pass-rush that was 30th in the NFL in sacks during the 2025 season. That lack of a pass-rush was one of the biggest reasons for their 8-9 record that resulted in them missing the playoffs. It is especially problematic two days into the legal tampering period after so many players have already agreed to terms. The biggest name who is still available is former Cincinnati Bengals edge-rusher Trey Hendrickson.
