How to watch McDavid, Oilers vs. Kings NHL livestream today...
Two divisional rivals meet up in their second games back after the Olympic break, as Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers take on the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night. The league returns this week after an exhilarating men’s hockey tournament at the 2026 Winter Olympics. Many of the NHL’s biggest names were in Milan over the past couple of weeks, with the United States beating Canada to win the gold medal. Now, it is time to get back to business. Both teams were in action on Wednesday night, with the Kings hosting the Vegas Golden Knights, while the Oilers were in Orange County taking on the Anaheim Ducks, with both coming out on the losing end. The Oilers are led by their captain, who is just a few days removed from suffering a tough loss to the U.S. in the final on Sunday. McDavid now has to shrug off another big-game loss and turn his focus toward helping Edmonton gear up for hopefully another deep run in the postseason. The Kings are trying to climb back into the top eight in the Western Conference. Despite trading for sniper Artemi Panarin before the Olympic break, they lost Kevin Fiala to a season-ending injury suffered during the Winter Games, certainly limiting the team’s offensive punch. The Oilers come into Thursday third in the Pacific Division, six points back of Vegas. The Kings are back in fifth place, three points behind the Seattle Kraken for the last Wild Card spot in the West.
