LONDON -- Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the now former Prince Andrew, has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct while in public office. The arrest stems from his ties to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew had worked as a trade envoy, and investigators have been looking into whether he sent confidential trade reports to Epstein. It is the former prince's 66th birthday. Police released a statement that read in part: "It is important that we protect the integrity and objectivity of our investigation as we work with our partners to investigate this alleged offense. We understand the significant public interest in this case, and we will provide updates at the appropriate time."
