Bicyclist killed in fatal collision near UC Berkeley...

A bicyclist was struck and killed by a pick-up truck near the UC Berkeley campus Saturday afternoon, police said. The collision happened at around 2:50 p.m. at the intersection of Telegraph Avenue and Haste Street, according to the Berkeley Police Department. The bicyclist, a man in his 60s, was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, police said. As of 5:30 p.m. Saturday, the following streets were closed: Telegraph Avenue between Haste Street and Dwight Way. Haste Street between Bowditch Avenue and Dana Street.
